SAP to acquire Israel’s WalkMe for $US1.5 Billion

SAP, the global powerhouse in enterprise applications and business AI, is set to acquire Israeli company WalkMe, a leader in digital adoption platforms, for $US1.5 Billion.

The strategic acquisition will integrate WalkMe’s patented AI driven technology into SAP’s extensive Business Transformation Management portfolio.

WalkMe’s digital adoption platforms, sits on top of other software products, apps, or websites and provide users with advanced guidance and automation features, enabling customers to build workflows seamlessly across any number of applications, identify where workflows might break, get the tools to take immediate action and help make the most and drive higher adoption of the underlying software.

“By acquiring WalkMe, we are doubling down on the support we provide our end users, helping them to quickly adopt new solutions and features to get the maximum value out of their IT investments.”

WalkMe is head quartered in Tel Aviv and was founded by Dan Adika, Rafael Sweary, Eyal Cohen and Yuval Shalom Ozanna in 2011, with the vision of simplifying digital user experiences.
